“Hope is not idle. It asks something of us.” — Rebecca Solnit.
As this year closes, I’ve been thinking about the kind of hope that shows up as steady work. Over the last year and a half, I wrote my next memoir. Now begins the long path toward finding the right agent and publisher, and I know many of you are tending your own creative projects as we step into 2026. I’ll be planning my creative year alongside you, shaping my goals while continuing to serve this community. My hope for the world demands my action, and I know yours does too.
